Important: Please read the following AutoPay Program (“AutoPay”) Terms & Conditions before participating in the AutoPay Program. It is your responsibility to carefully read and to understand these Terms and Conditions. These AutoPay Program Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time, and changes become binding once posted to the Alaska Power & Telephone website.
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the AutoPay Program and constitute an agreement (“Agreement”) between you and AP&T. By activating an Alaska Power & Telephone eligible account, enrolling in AutoPay or otherwise participating in the Program you agree to be bound by these AutoPay Program Terms and Conditions, as well as AP&T’s Terms and Conditions of Service contained in AP&T’s operating tariffs regulatory, and AP&T’s Privacy Policy privacy policy. In addition, by enrolling in AutoPay or otherwise participating in the AutoPay Program you agree that you have received, read and understand AP&Ts AutoPay Authorization which states as follows:
AutoPay Authorization
By providing your debit card, credit card, or checking account information, you certify that you have the authority to authorize debits or charges to the payment source provided and acknowledge enrollment in the AutoPay Program. By enrolling and/or inputting your debit card, credit card, or checking information, you represent and warrant that you are the person whose name appears on the debit card, credit card, or checking account, and/or that you are authorized to use the debit card, credit card, or checking account, that you have a sufficient unused credit limit to cover any charges that may be made using AutoPay, that the information you provide is correct, and that you will notify AP&T in any change in the above, and you further make each of these representations and warranties each time you have a transaction that will be paid through AutoPay.
You authorize AP&T to charge your debit card, credit card, or checking account the total amount due on your statement issued by AP&T. You understand that your debit card, credit card, or checking account will be charged approximately 15 days after the billing statement is rendered.
You agree that funds will be available from the payment source you have specified and you understand that failure to meet any of the stated terms may result in cancellation of your participation in the AutoPay Program by AP&T.
You understand that if funds are not available or if the charge is rejected by the issuing bank or credit card company, you may be subject to an NSF fee from AP&T.
Termination or Changes to the Program
AP&T reserves the right to terminate the AutoPay Program at any time without notice for any reason.
You understand that you may terminate this agreement by giving written or verbal notice to AP&T at any time, but must allow a reasonable amount of time after receipt for AP&T to act upon it.
Alaska Power & Telephone may modify the AutoPay Program and/or these AutoPay Program Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion, with or without notice, and your continued participation in the AutoPay Program after such modification shall be deemed to be your acceptance of any such modification.
